Trip Summary

Our 15 Day Namibia, Zambia and Botswana Safari gives you the opportunity to see the highlights of three incredible African countries rich in wildlife and spectacular scenery in only two weeks!

World acclaimed Chobe National Park in Botswana will not disappoint the animal lovers with both game drive and river cruise scheduled, plus you stay for two nights in a lodge overlooking Chobe River where hippos frolic, relax and splash. Okavango Delta lends itself to a magical journey of culture, bird life, mammals and flora. Words do not describe this part of the world enough, you will have to see it for yourself to believe it! But I do know that you will enjoy viewing unique African wildlife in its natural habitat on the many game drives and river game cruises throughout this safari. We travel through Namibia, via the Zambezi Region (formerly known as the Caprivi Strip) on your way to the famous Etosha National Park. Here you will spend a few days driving through the park to view the wildlife in its natural habitat.

Depending on which direction your safari travels; either Windhoek to Livingstone or Livingstone to Windhoek,  your journey will include the spectacular 1.7km wide Victoria Falls where you may witness the sun setting over the Zambezi River while on an included sunset river cruise.

We travel through Namibia, via the Zambezi Region (formerly known as the Caprivi Strip) on your way to the famous Etosha National Park. Here you will spend a few days driving through the park to view the wildlife in its natural habitat.

Comments of previous clients:

Hi everyone at Traveljoy! We would just like to say that we had a wonderful holiday and memories that will last for ages. Victoria Falls was something out of this world and the helicopter flight definitely worth the extra money as it was truly exceptional. All the game drives allowed us to see very many animals and birds of the region, our favourite was the one through Mahango National Park. The accommodation was everything we hoped for in Africa and the food at all venues exceeded expectations – a few tough steaks – but on the whole very good and plenty of it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and exceedingly good company. The wildlife was more numerous than we could have hoped for and the safari was definitely a success and will be recommended. Thanks again!                Will and Elsie

Dear Traveljoy, We just returned last week from our 15 Day Namibia Safari and would like to express our thanks! We certainly saw a lot of highlights: Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park, Okavango Delta and Etosha National Park – an area in Africa rich in wildlife! All of the game drives and boat cruises were fascinating and in Chobe we saw a herd of lions so close, a memory we won’t forget soon! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us; being in a small group was a delight as we all got a long very well. The staff at Chobe welcomed us with smiles and our rooms at all the accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We have already told our friends about Traveljoy and hope to join you again on another African adventure in the future! Many thanks again    Norm & Sue

Hello Everyone! Thank you so much – I had a great time. This was my second trip to Africa, but this safari covered ground I haven not previously trodden. Our tour guide was excellent, whether he was talking about culture, climate, history, plants, animals, politics, administration – he was knowledgeable, simple and easy to understand and very caring. As a group, we all got along well and enjoyed each other’s company. Time will tell but I think I might have made a couple of good friends.    The accommodation was great, especially enjoyed The Island Lodge: Heaven on a stick! I know where I am going if I ever want to go somewhere for two weeks and hide away in paradise. Loved it, loved it, loved it! No more to say, except somehow I’m going back. Nunda River Lodge: Thank you!!!!!! Loved the rooms, the showers with a view were great (although the women were a bit apprehensive about the gaps in the reed walls). The Lodge is very well set up with a large deck outside the reception / restaurant – please keep it on the agenda. I had a ball! A truly different and unique experience. I will be recommending you to my friends and family.    Kelvin
